Melanie Jenkins is another valued member of the 1016 Media | Terry Allen PR | CBO Development team. Her responsibilities with us include direction and overall operation of events planning, execution, management and budgetary oversight for activities of events planning, conferences, meetings, meeting locations, travel, vendors, logistics, exhibits, operations.
With her expertise in with female-oriented programming, Melanie matches potential sponsors for events and conference needs, both monetary and in-kind resources; maintains coordination with hospitality industry for conferences and other sponsored meetings & functions. She also maintains and builds rapport with suppliers and other beauty professional salon owners and vendors as we continue participation in beauty professional industry.
Melanie is enrolled in a cosmetology program while pursuing her BAAS at Texas A&M. Her love for the art, hunger for knowledge and quest for professional excellence lead her to pursue building business relationships with many professionals in the hair industry, hair product companies, salon owners and cosmetology entrepreneurship. The core of her professional mission has been constant for more than 18 years: "to evaluate and empower the industry and share knowledge with others as well as master the needs of consumer desire and increase researching new trends." She brings years of seasoned financial management expertise, which she accumulated from a range of strong non-profit, banking, audit, and educational experiences. Ms. Jenkins career has also demonstrated a longstanding commitment to promoting business and events.
